VICTORIA SANDWICH CAKE RECIPE

With this mouth- watering dish, you’ll need;
·         100g (4oz) flour
·         100g (4oz) margarine
·         100g (4oz) castor sugar
·         2 eggs

METHOD
1.       Line the sandwich tin.
2.       Sieve the flour into a bowl.
3.       Add all the ingredients and beat together with a wooden spoon until mixture is light coloured and fluffy.
4.       Divide between two tins, smoothen the top and bake in a moderately hot oven.
5.       Bake for 30 minutes- 40 minutes until firm and golden brown.
6.       Cool on a wire rack and then sandwich together with jam.

VOILÀ!  There we go! It wasn’t too difficult to make, was it?
Serve with chilled drinks.
