PRAISE

 THE SILENCE OF GOD

To the 3 and final point of waiting in silence; a very inspiring one indeed.

The third thing that happens when God is silent is that it is possible He is fighting unseen battles and averting certain dangers that may befall you and certain dangers the devil is already programming ahead of you on your way in executing His will. When Satan tries to stop your destiny and he cannot stop it, when he knows that it is sure you are moving in the path of destiny; the next thing he does is to begin to program all kinds of woes on your path to actualising your destiny. God seeing that can suspend that which is His will for your life and then deal with the obstacles that will be waiting for you in the future and then the moment that is done He will release you to go. Matthew 2:20 summarises when Herod was furious at the fact that Jesus had been born and instructed all children to be killed. The angel instructed Joseph and Mary to run with the baby Jesus and go and hide him. When Jesus was hidden, there was no manifestation of any angel again or the voice of the Spirit. There was silence. Remember where they hid was a temporary place. In the verse 20, the angel then appears and tells them that they should arise and go back into the land of Israel for they who sought the child to kill him are dead. It was over. All those who would have attacked the baby and frustrated the ministry were all dead. While God is suspending the revelation of His will, He is making sure that all those things are dealt with for the road to be clear before you before you continue on your path of destiny. Most believers are not mature enough.

This should help you so you can give God praise  when it does not make sense and with this understanding, you can comfort many others. The silence of God is an advantage.

When God says give thanks, just give thanks for you don't know the battles that are going to be ahead of you.

Some of you have prayed to God to open certain doors and the moment the doors opened, the trouble that came with that doors it was almost not worth it again and God is saying I don't want that to happen to you again; allow me deal with the battles the devil has programmed then it will be a triumphant entry for you. If you do not understand this side of God, you will never be able to give thanks even when you don't understand Him. If God did not train Moses for the extra 30 years, simply because of the pressure to make sure prophecy comes to pass and He pushed Moses prematurely like that, He may have brought them out of Egypt but they will all die. Even with all the training, it was only Joshua and Caleb from that generation that entered the promised land so you will wonder, what was the hurry for?  When God gives you break though He takes responsibility for maintaining it.  Every time through ignorance you insist and put pressure on God, He will let you have your way but be ready for the consequences of going out of His program. It is dangerous to wrestle with God. It is possible to wrestle with God and you will be the winner but every time your will defeats  the will of God, start being afraid. It will only take mercy to redeem you. when you get out of the will of God. 

If your prayer life is dead, you will fall into many traps cheaply. Not every open door is God's door; not every open door is a door you should enter at that time. Sometimes, it may be the door you may eventually enter.

Sometimes the Lord may be protecting us from so many ill things and we fail to see it is His love for us compelling Him to be protecting us because we are too carnal minded. Many restraints is the love and the mercy of God. so that certain battles will be fought. Timing is important as the word. The word "GO" and "GO NOW", just as "GO" and "GO LATER" in as much as they may seem, are entirely different meanings. Just because God tells you you are going to go left, you need to ask him, now that I know where I'm going, "WHEN AM I GOING?!" Because if you miss 1 day it can corrupt the entire process of your journey.

Always pray to obtain grace to stay within the will of God and the ability to wait in patience till you hear the voice of God to lead you.
