PINK OCTOBER
Hey people! The month of October is here once again and you know what that means; breast cancer awareness month! Yaay! It's the Pink October month which means rocking pink to support a cause for cancer. Breast cancer as we know is doing more harm to the females in the world and should be put in check if not eradicated. You know, people need to be educated more about the disease and be brought to light about the consequences and the measures which need to be put in place to help curb the disease.
Tell a a friend to tell a friend about the knowledge you have about breast cancer. Kindly visit my previous post for more information on breast cancer. Who knows? Your knowledge about the disease can help save a life. You could also help a patient by helping in the treatment of the disease through contribution, if not by lifting their spirits through words of encouragement, visits, prayers and in any way you can deem necessary to put a smile on a face this month and most especially breast cancer patients who have this month dedicated to them.Words of encouragement often go a long way to improve moods. Nothing is ever too small when it comes to saving a life.
Not to mention the least, I support PINK for AFRICA foundation based in the United State of America which is focused on educating women on breast cancer and supporting them in any way possible. Pink for Africa had a health walk yesterday, Sunday, 1st October, 2017 at Kennedy Park 807 Washington road, Parlin, NJ to generate funds to assist ladies with breast cancer around Africa and in the United States and I'm very proud and happy to say that it was an eventful and a successful one. The theme for this month is pink which also happens to be one of my favorite colours. Anyone who would like to support this cause can rock Pink anytime and any day within this month.
I would also like to use this opportunity to thank and encourage all other breast cancer foundations and everyone doing their possible best to improve others' lives. Their efforts are never going to be in vain and for more information on PINKFORAFRICA, kindly check out www.pinkforafrica.org and also, keep in mind that PURPOSELY PINK IS A LIFESTYLE.
