PINK FOR AFRICA AND THE MAIN TEACHING HOSPITALS BY FAR (PART 4)

Hey guys, I am back with a megahit about what Pink for Africa did this year, October 2023. Last year, after much pondering, we decided to add two more teaching hospitals to the ship we have been sailing on over the past 12 years and hey people, I am proud to announce Cape Coast Teaching Hospital and Tamale Teaching Hospital as the newest addition to the list of the teaching hospitals we have been collaborating with to help the women financially incapable of catering for their diagnostics and treatment.

On the 19th of October, 2023, I embarked on the journey to Cape Coast to mark a new beginning of establishing ties with the teaching hospital to enable them to open the doors for us to assist the women who are not able to support themselves financially with their treatment. For starters, we could help 10 women with GH 15,000 and 3 prostheses as most of the women were not informed early of the prostheses donation.

Throughout the years, our donors whom we would never stop thanking have stayed faithful to the cause by always giving through our fundraising events, health walks, and online drives that we organize to generate funds to be able to support our women in the hospitals with breast cancer and cannot afford it.

Below is a breakdown of what we did with the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital and we would like to thank the staff, especially Dr. Laryea, Mr. Samuel Asare Teiko, Mrs. Sophia Blankson, Florence Hagan, Magdalene Afi Denanyo, for welcoming us with open arms to help people going through breast cancer and making the process easier and smooth for us.

In the year 2023, 10 patients have benefitted financially with the sum of Gh 15,000, and 3 patients have benefitted from breast prostheses as seen from the table:
