Hey, hey people, I’m
very certain some of us have heard of NASAAG National Academy of Students’
Achievement Awards Ghana(NASAAG) but
don’t know what it is or about. NASAAG which is a non-profit awarding academy
established to empower, support and properly position students and the youth in
their respective chosen field of expertise; be it business and entrepreneurship,
leadership and governance, ethics and morality. It is an annual contemporary educational,
cultural and entertainment tradition that brings together the youth and
students in creative and innovative job creation.
This academy was established in the year 2019 to properly
position students and youth in their chosen field of expertise. It was founded
by Mr. Riffath Yakubu who is an event entrepreneur, women and youth activist, a
research analyst, brand management strategist, event consultant expert and a
transformational speaker as well. The academy is a focused, envisioned one
committed to grooming and training youth through industrial, educational and
social conferences to equip them with competitive contemporary skills,
knowledge with attitude base to excel.
NASAAG came to the
conclusion to have the second edition nomination open press meeting at the
Ghana media school in Achimota, Accra on the 30th of April, 2021 at
11:00am. The first ever nomination was held on the 1st of June 2020.
The nomination is for students who are into any form of economic, social,
educational, leadership, entertainment and sports activities by themselves
doing so well shaping and developing the community as a whole. It aims to empower through training and
support the youth in their field of expertise and award their excellence in
work.
The next edition nomination ends on Sunday 27th June, 2021.fir senior high school, tertiary and international students.
The academy thrives and operates on donor supports and
sponsorships. It intends to raise funds
from donors to procure its tools, equipment and assets that can be
commercialized to generating revenues for the academy.
This innovative idea by such talented individuals seeking to
promote and help the youth achieve something while developing and building on
talents as well as improving the community in general needs to be supported and
appraised since it is not an easy task trying to help the youth be independent
in this country. The public should kindly help in supporting this agenda since
the youth is the future.
