O LU W A T O B I..........

     One day, I got the chance to meet this beautiful soul called  called Oluwatobi. She was a pretty girl in her mid-twenties who had a heart of gold. ( I may not have known her  for long, but indeed, good work does speak for itself). She was also a bright and intelligent lady who got out of university not so long ago. She came from a middle-class family and had two siblings. She lived with her mum and siblings and they were very staunch Christians who never took God's word lightly.

     As they say, people are not perfect and so was Oluwatobi. Oluwatobi wasn't the type who lacked anything. She had the looks, brains, physique and the love a family could give its members but what she lacked was patience and what it was like to be in a relationship. From my conversations with her, I observed she was a person who trusted so easily and was so vulnerable that guys just took advantage of her nature.Because she had a good heart and good intentions, she expected everybody else to be like her which we know is so impossible. She's never had a stable relationship, all her relationships just hit the rocks before she can say ''Jack''. To her, she didn't seem to know what was exactly wrong because she always prayed for a good relationship which will lead to marriage. 

     From my point of view, I believed her problem was that, she tries too much to make things work when they shouldn't. Trying to get her relationships right, she allows that to shift her focus off the most important things and when she is solely focused on work and school, the guys come in to distract her which she doesn't know how to prevent.
     Also, her failed relationships have made her doubt her level of confidence and her self-esteem. She always believes she's never good enough or she is getting what she truly deserves.
